The Mapbiomas Bolivia collection 2.0, is a historical series of annual maps for the period 1985 -2023 that covers the entire Bolivian territory. 

IMPORTANT

• All data is in GeoTiff format with LZW compression.
• Land cover and land use classifications are made for each year from Landsat mosaics
• To obtain the reference of the codes with the legend classes, access:  Legend code
• Legend RGB color palette is available for ArcMap (Level 1 and Level 2)
• The annual maps are consolidated into a single file with several bands, where each band represents one year of the historical series (the 1st band corresponds to the first year of the series)
• To calculate the area, it is necessary to use an appropriate metric projection.
• The international limits used by MapBiomas Bolivia are prepared based on IGM, 2021.
• The maps will be updated whenever there is an improvement in the classification algorithms. The classification methodology is dynamic, aiming to refine the classification process.
